Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Ellastrated. These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Ellastrated online shop at www.ellastrated.co.uk.
Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Products
We take care to make sure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, sizes and other information on the website are as accurate as possible.
Because many of our products are handmade, hand screenprinted or individually produced, there may be small variations between products. These variations are part of the handmade nature of the item and are not necessarily defects.
Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen, monitor, phone or other device.
Where a product has specific characteristics, including materials, dimensions, sizing or care instructions, these will be stated on the relevant product page where applicable.
Hand Screen Printed Clothing
Our clothing is hand screen printed rather than mass-produced. Small differences in ink coverage, placement, texture or print appearance may therefore occur.
These characteristics are part of the handmade process.
Please follow any washing and care instructions provided with your item. We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by failure to follow the recommended care instructions or by normal wear and tear.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights if an item is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet the requirements of UK consumer law.
Super Seconds & Imperfect Items
From time to time, we may sell items described as Super Seconds, seconds, imperfect or similar.
These products may have minor imperfections, printing variations, marks, faults or other characteristics which are specifically described on the product listing.
We will make reasonable efforts to explain any known imperfections before purchase.
You should not expect a Super Second to meet the same cosmetic standard as a first-quality item.
However, describing an item as a Super Second does not remove your statutory consumer rights. We will not use this category to exclude responsibility for faults or characteristics that were not disclosed to you before purchase.
Prices
All prices displayed on the website are shown in pounds sterling (£), unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be shown during the ordering process before you complete your purchase.
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices displayed on the website are accurate. If we discover an obvious pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
Placing An Order

After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation. A contract between you and Ellastrated will be formed when we confirm acceptance of your order.
If we cannot fulfil your order, for example because an item is unavailable or there has been an error with the listing, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund where you have already paid.
Placing An Order

Payment

We do not knowingly accept fraudulent or unauthorised payments. If a payment cannot be successfully processed, we may be unable to fulfil the order until payment has been received.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on the website. Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page, our current aim is to dispatch orders within 5 working days.
Handmade, made-to-order or custom products may take longer. Any specific estimated production or dispatch timeframe will be stated on the relevant product listing where applicable.
Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times depend on the postal or delivery service used and the destination.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including postal delays, strikes, severe weather, customs delays or other circumstances beyond our control.
However, your statutory rights remain unaffected.
If your order does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us so that we can investigate.
International Orders & Customs
For orders delivered outside the UK, the recipient may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, VAT or other charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are outside Ellastrated's control.
You are responsible for checking whether any additional import charges or restrictions apply in your country before placing an order.
Returns & Cancelations
If you are a consumer purchasing from the UK, you generally have a statutory right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, followed by a further 14 days to return them, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
If you wish to cancel an eligible order, please contact us as soon as possible using the contact details provided above.
Returned goods should be sent back in an appropriate condition and, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging.
Unless an exception applies, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when exercising your statutory cancellation right.
We will refund eligible cancelled orders in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Exceptions To Cancelations Rights
The statutory cancellation right does not apply in certain circumstances, including certain personalised or bespoke goods and certain sealed goods which cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
Where an exception applies to a particular product, this will be made clear before you purchase it.
Digital content may also be subject to different cancellation rules where you have expressly agreed to its immediate supply and acknowledged the resulting loss of your cancellation right.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, defective or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Please include your order number and, where appropriate, photographs showing the problem. This helps us investigate the issue quickly.
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, we may offer a repair, replacement, refund or other appropriate remedy.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.
In particular, goods supplied to consumers must meet the applicable requirements relating to description, satisfactory quality and fitness for purpose.
Digital Art Prints & Digital Products
Intellectual Property
All artwork, illustrations, designs, photographs, graphics, logos, written content and other creative material on the Ellastrated website are owned by or licensed to Ellastrated unless otherwise stated.
Purchasing a physical product does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights in the artwork to you.
You may use products you purchase for your normal personal use, but you may not reproduce, copy, trace, scan, commercially exploit or manufacture products from Ellastrated's artwork without prior written permission.
This includes reproducing artwork on clothing, prints, stationery, merchandise, websites or social media for commercial purposes.
Custom Illustrations & Commisions
Where custom illustrations or commissioned work are offered, the specific terms of the commission will be agreed with the customer before work begins.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, copyright and other intellectual property rights in commissioned artwork remain with Ellastrated.
A customer may not reproduce or commercially exploit commissioned artwork beyond the usage rights specifically agreed with Ellastrated.
Custom or personalised products may not be eligible for cancellation simply because the customer has changed their mind, where an applicable statutory exception applies.
If a commission cannot reasonably be completed, we will discuss the situation with the customer and provide an appropriate resolution.
Use Of Website Content
You may view and use the website for your own personal and non-commercial purposes.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit material from the website without written permission.
You must not use the website in a way that could damage, disable, overburden or interfere with its operation or security.
Availability Of The Website

Digital products are supplied for the purchaser's personal use unless the product listing expressly states otherwise.
